Associated Wire Corporation of the Philippines, or simply AWCP, was founded back in 1968 by Engr. Ignacio S. Jose,Jr.

AWCP began its life as a manufacturer of simple wire harnesses and power cords used in household appliances. From these humble beginnings, AWCP has been steadily expanding and acquiring new technologies and equipment.

Today, AWCP is considered to be a leading manufacturer of high quality wires and cables. The applications of its products vary greatly – from diminutive wiring harnesses used in motorcycles, to heat resistant service cords used in air-conditioners, to high voltage cables used to power entire cities.
